We can teach you from start to finish the cycles of the year, using sea surface temp and cloro charts, reading water conditions, boat maneuvering, anchoring, drifting, rigging gear, presenting a bait or lure, gaffing/netting fish, and proper post harvest fish handling. Some boat owners may be great at fishing for one species but need guidance in another, while others may need a full start to finish run-through of our local fishery. No matter your personal experience or what your looking for we are here to deliver a quality experience. |

Big Bluefin and Sword Fishing trips include all necessary gear and guide. Rental gear for other trips a fee applies.

Q. How do you book a trip? How does payment work?
A. A 50% deposit required to book an excursion, and we process this via credit card over the phone, Venmo, or Zelle. Deposit is refundable up to 14 days before trip, after that point deposit is non refundable. Q. What is the industry standard tip?
A. We work very hard every day to keep our clients safe, with rods bent and smiles on their faces with safe vessel navigation of the local waters. An industry standard tip of 10-20% is greatly appreciated. |
Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. If your plans change you have up until 2 weeks before the trip to receive deposit back, within two weeks we keep deposit. Occasionally, weather cancels the trips. We can either reschedule or refund your deposit for your Dana Point boat or Newport boat. Q. What do you NOT do or bring on our trips?
A. Being drunk to the point of being a danger will cause termination of trip without refund. Being aggressive to crew will also cause termination of trip without refund. Lastly, no drugs are allowed on board, and this includes Marijuana. The transport of controlled substances on federally regulated waters is illegal. |
